Technical support specialist Vestas® Offshore - IJmuiden (f/m/d)

As a Technical Support Specialist at Deutsche Windtechnik, you’re the expert and problem-solver for our offshore technicians. You make sure they are fully prepared, safe and equipped to resolve technical issues efficiently. You combine your knowledge of Vestas turbines with strong communication skills to explain complex technical challanges in a clear and actionable way.

Your tasks

You will work from our office in IJmuiden during standard office hours (Monday to Friday). Your main responsibility is to support offshore technicians with technical knowledge, analysis, and practical instructions.Your tasks include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for technicians needing support during fault-finding;
  • Analyzing turbine error messages and identifying remote troubleshooting options;
  • Process feedback from field interventions and defining follow up actions;
  • Determining required spare parts and tools;
  • Creating and updating technical documentation and procedures;
  • Translating field data into actionable technical improvement plans;
  • Occasionally working offshore for complex troubleshooting (12-hour day shift).

Your profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced technician/troubleshooter who enjoys working with others and analyzing problems. You recognize yourself in this profile:

  • Experience as a service technician or in technical support specialist for Vestas turbines (ideally on the V80);
  • Strong analytical and hands-on troubleshooting skills;
  • Able to communicate technical topics clearly and professionally;
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written);
  • Comfortable with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams);
  • Accurate, reliable, and cabable to work independently;
  • Enjoys supporting others and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

  • A gross monthly salary between €3800 and €4800;
  • 25 vacation days and 13 additional paid leave (ADV) days;
